Other news05/14/11 It began modestly in 1962 in an upstairs hall in Niagara's historic Court House. A local lawyer named Brian Doherty had a passion for the plays of George Bernard Shaw so he decided to indulge it by presenting two of the Irish dramatist's most popular works -- Don Juan In Hell and Candida -- on eight consecutive weekends that summer.
06/08/11 Lincoln Center Theater's Off-Broadway production of A Minister's Wife, the musical adaptation of George Bernard Shaw's Candida with a score by Joshua Schmidt and Jan Tranen, will be recorded by PS Classics for a late summer release.
