Police dog dies after ball lodged in throat

07/13/11 A police dog in Ohio has died after a ball tossed to her became lodged in her throat as she was exercising with her handler. Dayton police said Tuesday that the 6-year-old Belgian Malinois named Badger was with Detective Kevin Bollinger when the accident occurred Friday.
