SWAC poll puts Alabama State 3rd, Alabama A&M 4th in the division

07/19/11 BIRMINGHAM, Alabama -- New and different were the themes at Tuesday's SWAC football media day at the Birmingham Sheraton. Alabama State's home field, the 89-year-old Cramton Bowl, received an $8.5 million upgrade to make it like new in some respects.

Church Closes After A/C Units Stolen

07/14/11 The Energized Baptist Church is temporarily shut down after its three air conditioning units were stolen from outside the building.
