Student succumbs after battle with cancer

04/18/11 This past Monday, sophomore Katie Oppo passed away after battling with ovarian cancer for many months. Oppo, who was a sister in Hopkins's Phi Mu sorority, will be missed dearly by her sorority and by the community. 06/29/11 Jeremy Michael Nevils Porter was known for his mischievous smirk and his positive attitude. Mr. Porter died on June 26, 2011, in Muskogee County, Okla. He was 19.
