He is a senior at West Blocton High School, where he is a member of the Bibb Youth Leadership and Honor Society. At UAB, he will major in cytotechnology.

    Housing Authority board has new member

    10/22/09 TUSCALOOSA | Bill Howard was sworn in as a member of the Tuscaloosa Housing Authority board of directors Wednesday. Mayor Walt Maddox appointed Howard to replace Wayne Guy, who resigned from the board earlier this year. Howard, 46, works for the Credit Bureau of Tuscaloosa. He has lived in Tuscaloosa for 12 years.
