Other news12/05/09 Staff, wire report A Pelham police officer shot and killed during a traffic stop on Interstate 65 late Thursday night began his law enforcement career at the University of Alabama Police Department, where he worked for nearly four years. Philip Davis, 33, was with the department between July 1998 and April 2002, said UA spokeswoman Cathy Andreen.
05/05/10 TUSCALOOSA | The University of Alabama Police Department will hold an auction of unclaimed items at 9 a.m. Thursday in the back parking lot of New Hall. Items include nearly 250 bikes, an assortment of electronics, mobile phones, backpacks, jewelry and books. All sales are final and must be paid on the day of the auction with cash or check.
