10/20/09 Times Staff Reports MONTGOMERY- Gov. Bob Riley has awarded $750,000 in Community Development Block Grants to make improvements in Etowah and Blount counties. The town of Altoona, in Etowah County, will receive $250,000 to help construct a youth football field.
