11/18/10 The city will hold a public workshop on a possible bicycle and pedestrian path adjacent to Highway 24. The proposed path would follow the East Bay Municipal Utility District right of way along the highway from Risa Road to Brown Avenue.

Residents petition parking on Brown

02/17/11   Residents of Brown Avenue sent a petition to the Medina Village Board, asking that parking be restricted on their street. The petition listed reasons such as damage to lawns and difficulty getting in and out of personal driveways as reasons.

Muscogee County Schools begin nearly $6.4 million Bradley Library revamp

07/18/11 Four months after the school board voted on a contractor, construction and demolition has begun at the Bradley Library. Targeted for completion in January, the building will house the district's technology department which is one of the few departments still occupying the Columbus Roberts Center off Brown Avenue.
