    01/26/10 ANNISTON, AL (WBRC) - Police say a home invasion led to Anniston's first homicide of 2010. It happened Sunday night in an apartment on Brown Avenue. Investigators say two masked men interrupted a viewing party for the NFC Championship Game.

    Police investigating murder in Anniston

    01/25/10 ANNISTON, AL (WBRC) - Police in Anniston are investigating a murder. On Sunday evening, someone fired shots into a home on Brown Avenue. Investigators say Dariontae Brooks was hit and killed. He was pronounced dead at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday night.

    01/17/10 ANNISTON | A Calhoun County father faces a child abuse charge after a neighbor allegedly found his 3-year-old daughter outside in 20-degree temperatures wearing only a T-shirt and diaper. Authorities say the neighbor discovered the child outside on Tuesday morning when temperatures were in the mid-20s in east Alabama.
