 01/27/10 Northwest Indiana's notorious "nose doctor," Mark Weinberger, attracted surveillance by Italian authorities last month because they thought his mysterious comings and goings might have an al-Qaida connection. Italian police reported this week in newly released arrest information that one of the reasons he attracted their interest was suspicion that the mysterious man might have terrorist ties.

Kevin Cummings, the executive director of the Massachusetts Amateur Sports Foundation, has been at all 25. He said he knew the Winter Games would be special.
