07/16/11 In between the fire engines and their flashing lights and wailing sirens, 4-H horseback riders, Viking-helemeted Sons of Norway, and a caravan of vintage cars driving down Main Street, members of VFW Post 5297 in Cathlamet carrying posters of servicemen from Washington and Oregon who have died fighting in the Afghanistan and Iraq brought silence to the street as they passed by.
