Norton Sound salmon prices up 20-25 percent

06/20/11 Commercial fishermen delivering to Norton Sound Seafood Products will be paid 72 cents a pound for chum salmon and 25 cents a pound for pink salmon landed at the dock at Unalakleet at the start of the 2011 season, company officials said today.

Harbor man hurt in crash

07/15/11 HARBOR SPRINGS -- A 69-year-old Harbor Springs man was transported to Northern Michigan Regional Hospital by Allied EMS for injuries he sustained in a crash involving his motorcycle and a car Thursday, according to an Emmet County Sheriff's Office news release.
