Novikov's run ends at USTA clay courts

02/08/10 Chalk up last week as a learning experience for 15-year-old Dennis Novikov. Novikov, the seventh seed in the USTA Boys 18s and 16s National Clay Court Championships, lost in straight sets in the third round to unseeded Blake Davis of Austin, Texas, 6-3, 6-2.

Blake Davis Heads up to Norfolk

04/19/10 BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce a player move today. IF Blake Davis was transferred to class Triple-A Norfolk and 3B Matthew Tucker was transferred to Bowie from class Single-A Aberdeen. With the moves, the Baysox maintain a complete 24-man roster.

Former Jay Accardo done with the Orioles

06/18/11 The Baltimore Orioles have designated right-hander Jeremy Accardo for assignment and optioned infielder Ryan Adams to Triple-A Norfolk. Also on Saturday, the Orioles recalled right-hander Brad Bergesen from Norfolk and purchased the contract of infielder Blake Davis.
