10/18/09 The clock is ticking in Anchorage as crews scramble to wrap up construction projects all over town. The major South Anchorage construction job at O'Malley Road and Old Seward Hwy is the only job that will carry over until 2010, making this weekend crucial to get it ready for winter.

    06/15/11 I live in a very nice section of South Anchorage where the nearest thing I see to someone or something homeless is when a baby bird falls out of its nest too early. I am not so protected though that I can't imagine how uncomfortable it would be to my nice little middle-class life to have a homeless camp nearby.
