USDA Announces $23.6 Million in Clean Water Grants for Rural Alaska

USDA provides $24 millon for rural Alaska sanitation improvements

07/18/11 Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced today that 14 communities, many with populations that are predominately Alaska Native, will receive $23.6 million through the Rural Alaska Village Grant program to fund water quality improvement projects in rural Alaska villages, said a written statement from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
