Other news02/10/11 The Alaska State Ferry M/V Tustumena scheduled to depart from Kodiak Wednesday night was canceled due to an electrical issue, the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities said in a press release. Ferry workers are working to resolve the issue in order to depart Friday morning.
03/03/11 The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities announced a break in ferry service to Angoon and Tenakee Springs from March 31 to April 16. This is due to the ferry Aurora returning to Prince William Sound on April 1. The ferry Leconte will pick up service on April 16 after finishing an extended upgrade and renovation project at Vigor Marine Shipyard in Portland, Ore.
